Applications for the Spring 2026 Accelerator Program are open and will close on March 2nd, 2026!

Please contact the organizing team with any questions. Applicants will be reviewed and contacted with their status between March 3rd and 10th.

The first accelerator meeting will be on Tuesday, March 17th, 2026.


Requirements & preferred applicants:

  • Participants must be located in Interior Alaska.
  • Participants should be able to attend weekly meetings in-person or online.
  • Preference will be given to businesses that are in early stages of operation.
  • Applications are open to aspiring entrepreneurs, but preference will be given to currently operating businesses.

Schedule:

Accelerator meetings are held once per week for eight weeks on Tuesdays, 5pm-7pm at the UAF Community College and Technical Center (UAF CTC) in downtown Fairbanks.

The Spring 2026 Cohort will run every Tuesday from March 17th to May 5th.

Course Description:

This course is primarily designed for business owners in the early stages of their business and those that have developed an idea and are ready to launch their business.  Some topics covered in the accelerator are the development of a mission and vision statement, a business model canvas, marketing, leading and managing a team, forms of business ownership, funding, and how to develop a pitch to potential investors. There is a one-time $75 fee to participate in the program. This $75 covers all 8 weeks, as well as course materials provided by the organizers.
